I know my number of posts has been lacking lately but to be honest the nice hot summer season is quite short in Canada and I'm really trying to enjoy the sun while I can. This is also giving me some time on my patio with the Ipod going and a beer in my hand to listen to some things that I have aquired lately. The Class Assassins was the first one I wanted to highlight as it is a great release. Another release that has been getting many spins on the Angry patio is the new release by Alejandro Escovedo. Totally different from the Class Assassins but very much as enjoyable. A wonderful release and you even get guest vocals from Ian Hunter and Bruce Springsteen. This gets an Angry recommendation!

Actually it was his brother Javier that was in the Zeros. Alejandro was in the Nuns and co-founded Rank and File with the Kinman brothers. He was also in the True Believers. Just a little trivia for you all!
