I was given these two tracks awhile back from someone who visits this site. This is such a great single and I NEVER see it posted anywhere, so I thought what they hey. From SF this 3 piece all women punk band played all the usual haunts with all the same bands from the late 1970's. They released an album in the early '80's but most of the punkier edge was gone by then. In fact if I remember correctly, they opened for Duran Duran in the mid '80's. Please check out this, it is a GREAT single!!! Down Underground has their one and only album Something Broke if you want to check that out.

kiiiiilllleeerrr!!!!! Thanks Man.
ReplyDeleteThey had a hot drummer. Dont see that often. They also released two live CDs and one other single that I know of.
ReplyDeleteYeah I have those two live cds. One at Lennon Studios in SF and the other at SIR in LA. The album that they recorded in the mid 80's is pretty crap unfortunately. The two "live" cds have some of the songs from their album on it and it is more of what I am into, poppy punk with loud guitars. Rules and Regulations is a bonafide classic to say the least. Hot drummer? I never got a chance to see them, even when they did some reunion shows a few years ago. Kathy Peck does something called HEAR which is for musicians who have lost hearing
