X White Girl 7"

Well why not post one more X single for ya. Another bonafide classic here folks. Again, let me stress, X were amazing. These two songs are a tad different than what would show up on their full lengths. Enjoy!

X-Adult Books 7"

X with their first single Adult Books. Both songs are different versions that would later appear on their debut album Los Angeles. What an amazing band to say the least. I have seen them more than any other bands, though The Dickies and Social Distortion come close. I can't include Peter and The Test Tube Babies because my old band toured with them for 3 months. Anyways here is their debut on Dangerhouse. Enjoy this little piece of wax!

The Buzzcocks - May 19 2010 Toronto Canada

Just got back from seeing the Buzzcocks perform their first 2 lps from start to finish plus a greatest hits set afterwards. A truly amazing show and the band looked like they were having a great time. Diggle is especially into being a showman and what an awesome guitar player he is. A night I will not forget! Was a very packed club and it was tough to take pics but I managed a couple of semi decent shots that I thought I would share with you.

Angry Needs Some Help Please........

Last time I asked for help around here I ended up with lot's of Wildhearts material which was great so thought why not try again. I can remember years ago seeing a cd single from the Goo Goo Dolls that had a bonus track which was a cover of The Damned - Hit Or Miss. I have looked for years for the cd single in used shops but had no luck. Any chance that someone out there has an MP3 of the Goo Goo Dolls cover of Hit Or Miss? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The Plugz-Move 7"

Inspired by re-posting and listening to The Plugz album Electrify Me, I decided to break out their first single here. This was put out on Slash (home to The Germs, X, Fear, etc. ) in 1978 and it is a little rougher sounding than Electrify Me. I love this single. Great punk rock energy for ya!

Days Of Our Youth Update

Hey all.....I just wanted to update you all on a few things here. Firstly, the picture at the top of the blog is a band from San Francisco called Crime. The picture is at The Mabuhay Gardens in either late 1976 or soemtime in 1977. They were, along with The Nuns the first SF punk bands. Secondly, I have added a Youtube video thing which I am still sorting out. Right now it is posting strange things on there, but if I get it right then it will have video's of Blondie, Blitz, Stranglers, Clash, Jam, Buzzcocks, Discharge, etc. Lastly, I am up for a big job promotion and even though I post less than Angry, I might be doing even less for awhile.

Here's a couple of recommendations for you all.

DOA-Talk-Minus Action=0
Broken Bones-Fuck You And All You Stand For
Penetration-The Feeling 7"

They are all worthy of you seeking out and listening to.

McRackins - It Ain't Over Easy

Just a little plug here for something that really surprised me. Always liked The McRackins and was really shocked when I read that they were going to release a new lp in 2010. Playing it right now and damn is it good. Almost through the whole cd and not one bummer track. Actually all are insanely catchy. Definately on my list of must purchases! Go out and get this one for your collection. Angry says so!

Fallen Angles S/T

does anyone have this? I cannot find it for free and I am out of money for awhile. It is on iTunes but if a kind soul would like to help I would be stoked. Featuring members of Hanoi Rocks and Knox from The Vibrators. This is a pretty darn good album. I know the awesome blog It's A Shit Thing posted it awhile back, but I just cannot find it and I need it!!

Something a Little Different

Decided to post this as a friend of mine turned me on to it. I have never seen the movie "Brothers of the Head" but I believe the story is about 2 brothers who are siamese twins that decide to start a punk band. I would assume that the music was written for the movie but who would ever imagine that the soundtrack is as strong as it is? What a surprise! The cd is defianately a very worthwhile purchase!
