One band from the early '80's hardcore scene that always scared me/left me in awe were Whipping Boy. Fronted by a couple of guys from the posh college Stanford they were THE real deal. Big dudes that did not take shit from anyone. I remember when the Misfits were playing the Sound Of Music in SF. Jerry Only took off his bass and wacked a kid in the head. All the guys from Whipping Boy wanted to kill The Misfits that night. The cops had to escort the Misfits out of the Tenderloin Dist. club. The reason for this post is that I am desperately looking for the album The Third Secret Of Fatima. It has been somewhat of a long and winding search for me. Does anyone have this????????????

I spoke too soon. The needle on my turntable took a shit on my about halfway through side one. I'll see about getting a new one tomorrow (they're not open today). As soon as I replace it I'll get this to you.
ReplyDeleteSorry it took longer than I anticipated. It wasn't the needle after all, it was that piece of shit ION turntable (which I never liked) that took a dump on me. Since it's still technically the SEASON, I chased down Satan Claus & now I'm styling an Audio-Technica (a much better piece of equipment). This is the cherry-popping first rip. I included the cover & lyric sheet. Also both sides are just marked 'side' so you have to count the tracks or decipher the lyrics...I marked one side '5 song side' & one side '6 song side' (although there are really 7 songs...a 49 second unlisted untitled track). Enjoy & Happy New Year.

Muru Muru is one dark slab of vynil. If I had to chose I would pick Third Secret Of Fatima. A slighted album by many but man, it has some fantastic songs. Plus I know Bart who plays guitar on it.....he's a cool dude!!

This is a great. I have been looking for Whipping Boy stuff. I managed to get Subcreature, The Sound Of No Hands Clapping and some Demo stuff but I didn't have this. Anyone have Muru Muru or the Crow 7"?
