Angry Needs Some Help Please........

Last time I asked for help around here I ended up with lot's of Wildhearts material which was great so thought why not try again. I can remember years ago seeing a cd single from the Goo Goo Dolls that had a bonus track which was a cover of The Damned - Hit Or Miss. I have looked for years for the cd single in used shops but had no luck. Any chance that someone out there has an MP3 of the Goo Goo Dolls cover of Hit Or Miss? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Angry

  1. Hey Ken I just emailed it. It was from the 95 film Tommy Boy with Chris Farrley. Really bitchin cover too. I used to really love the Goo Goo Dolls prior to Boy Named Goo. Them and the Chili Peppers became too ballad oriented, and naturally I lost interest. You can't mess with Jed.

  3. Hey Chris
It was actually Angry asking for this track but I'm sure Ken will love it too. Wasn't the track that was on Tommy Boy "Wait for the Blackout"? That was on their recently issued cd greatest hits. It would be great if it was Hit or Miss. I will share it if all works out. Please send to angread1@hotmail.com if you do have it.

  7. There is a bonus track on their new record...a cover of Pete Townshend's Rough Boys. Pretty good. Bass player sings it, so it still has an edge to it.

I'm sure these guys are happy making the big bucks now, but as others have said...the ballads really blow. They really need more songs where the bass player sings.
