Naked Raygun Is Releasing New Stuff

Just bought single one and two....If you are a Naked Raygun fan then you will know what to expect. Great singalong punk from these Chicago stalwarts. Both singles are great. Seek them out and buy them. They are also available on iTunes too. Seriously, this stuff kicks major butt!!!!!

  1. Good call Ken. a band Ive admired for years. I hope they put all these singles onto a LP/CD. Do you know how many 7" they are going to do?
Been looking for a cheeeky free download of these but so far, no joy.

    Keep up the good work.

  2. Daz, I would be more than happy to post these two singles. Unfortunately, I purchased them on iTunes and all of my computers are spoken for with their allotment. They are both fantastic singles! Instantly memorable and the playing is top notch! I was on a punk message board....Daz, you know which one (wink) and there is a thread about NR and that is what put me on the path to find these. From what I have read, they have intentions to release a bunch of these and possible make it an album. I really hope you can find the tracks. They are well worth it!!!!

  3. I have seen them about a dozen times since they reunited a few years back at Riot Fest in Chicago. The recordings on these singles are disappointing comparative to the live versions I have heard. I would rather listen to the last CD by The Bomb (Pezzatti's other band) than these singles. The Bomb CD sounds more like Naked Raygun than Naked Raygun does. I find it quite sad that The Bomb is about to breakup after their next release. Anyway, I can't wait to see NR live again in Chicago, and hopefully, soon.

BTW, I really enjoy your blog and thanks for whatever d/l's I may have received over the last few months.

  4. Thanks for the compliments Lew! Bummer you are not digging these new releases.....Maybe I am just stoked that they have put out new material. The Bomb are a great band. Too bad they're breaking up!

  5. "Speed is Everything" was my favorite album of last year, a damn near perfect record, shame about the Flock of seagulls cover.
The last song on the CD "Blown away" is a classic!

  7. Don't get me wrong, I live Naked Raygun. I would love to buy the first single, but c'mon...$10 for 2 songs? Screw that. At least the 2nd single is priced correctly. I did buy that one, and can highly recommend it!

For the record, Amazon sells both digitally in MP3 format, so no DRM like iTunes. I hate Apple...
