Well you all know that my external hardive took a shit. Now my laptop is at the doctors and is getting fixed. The Doctor told me it should be a few weeks before the patient comes home. $400 to fix my little buddy.
In a seriousness, as soon as my computer comes back I will be posting more stuff. Sorry for the quiet time here folks. Hopefully Angry can fill in the spots until I return!

ReplyDeleteGobshyte, it is the monitor portion of my computer that went on the fritz. Either they have to replace the monitor all together, or just a cable that goes from the keypad area to the monitor. Best case $150...worse case $400. That is what I was told today. Damn my computer luck (or lack of) is getting to me!

ReplyDeleteWas it a Toshiba? Because you'd make the 3rd person I know with that same HD failure. They all bought Toshibs and they all began to fail around April. One of which is a friend of mine who is a law student and she nearly had a total meltdown because it occurred after some windows update. In every case though the content was saved.
