Well Chicago has The Effigies and Naked Raygun. Two of my favorite Chi-Town bands ever. Man I love their hot dogs too!!!! Anyways Pegboy ( a tattoo term if you did not know that) was started when John Haggerty left Naked Raygun. Joined by Pierre Kezdy also of Naked Raygun and Larry Damore who played in the Bhopal Stiffs I think and another guy. Pegboy carries right along in the Buzzcocks influenced punk stakes here. Not as great as NR but still pretty damn good I think. Just listen to John Haggerty's riffing. Thick as molases!
